The Institute for Humane Studies is housed in the same building as the Mercatus Institute at George Mason University. We share some support staff, and overlapping - though distinct - missions. IHS supports and partners with professors to promote the teaching and research of classical liberal ideas and to advance higher education’s core purpose of intellectual discovery and human progress.
